ABOUT ME
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor, and an Accredited Registrant Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS #NCS23-02336).
I work integratively, drawing on approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and attachment theory.
While professional training is important, research consistently shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship, the sense of safety, trust, and collaboration, is one of the strongest predictors of meaningful change. This relationship, often called the 'therapeutic alliance', develops over time through consistency, openness, and mutual engagement. It’s within this relationship that difficult emotions, experiences, and patterns can be explored and understood.

I bring lived-experience to my work as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and as a neurodivergent person. My practice is grounded in principles of acceptance, understanding, and respect for difference.
If you’d like to ask questions or get a sense of whether I’m the right therapist for you, I’d be happy to talk during a free 20-minute online or telephone consultation.
